Thai Foot Massage

Traditional Thai Foot Massage to treat our sore feet

What is a Thai Foot Massage

The Thai Foot Massage involves the clearing of the bodies energy lines through massage and acupressure of the feet as well as the lower legs. The Buddhist monks of Thailand passed down this rich traditional healing technique through the generations where it is still taught today at Wat Pho, the center of Traditional Thai Healing Arts. Your feet carry you all day and should be properly taken care of in order to feel at your best. Thai foot massages are one of the best modalities to achieve this sense of well being.

What you can expect

To begin with, your feet will be soaked in a bath of Thai Herbs to help soften them before the manipulation begins. A lotion is applied to the feet and lower legs before the therapist gets to work. The fragrant aroma of the traditional lotion will fill the room and creates a warming sensation to the feet and helps bring a sense of wellbeing to the recipient. The feet receive and overall massage then pressure is applied to various points on the feet to stimulate the organs. Sessions typically last 45 minutes.
