Thai Yoga Massage

Traditional Thai massage for general well being

What is Thai Yoga Massage?

Rooted in a healing tradition more than 2,500 years old, Thai Yoga Massage is both invigorating and deeply relaxing. Drawing on traditional techniques preserved in Thailand and taught at Wat Pho in Bangkok, it combines assisted stretching, acupressure, rhythmic compression, and mindful movement.

Often described as a form of assisted yoga, Thai Yoga Massage is performed on a mat while the Thai Therapist uses hands, feet, knees, and legs to guide the body through a series of stretches and therapeutic movements. The treatment is designed to help release tension, improve flexibility, encourage circulation, and restore a sense of balance and well-being.

What You Can Expect

Thai Yoga Massage is typically performed fully clothed on a mat. For your session, please wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely, such as yoga or exercise wear.

Before your treatment, you may be asked to complete a short health questionnaire so that the session can be adapted to your individual needs. Your Thai Therapist will then assess your comfort, flexibility, and areas of concern in order to choose the most suitable techniques and stretches for you.

A first session is often shorter and more introductory in nature, while longer sessions allow for a more complete treatment experience. Depending on your goals and any areas of tension or discomfort, more than one session may be beneficial.
